The immediate goal of The Better Angels Society is to provide funding for American history documentary films currently in production for PBS as well as the educational engagement tools that accompany them. In addition, we are supporting a new generation of filmmakers that craft American history documentaries that are compelling and diverse in the model of Ken Burns’s films.
